CANNING IS MEDITATION
Finding Our Footing Through Fruit
Jay Jay's Jams and Such grew from a place of personal turmoil. In the fall of 2011, our creator was fired. The first time in their working life that they had been released from employment. They felt lost and unsure. As they pondered next steps, they decide to make something using apples from apple trees in the backyard. Looking for inspiration and try to gain their footing, they decided to try their hand at making apple butter. The project kept their mind occupied & helped them feel in control. Through the process they figured out that this form of creating soon soothed their spirit and felt like meditation.

Over the years, we have gone from sharing our delectable and delicious offerings with family & friends to now with all of you. Jay Jay's Jams and Such offers delectable, handmade, small batch, high quality, flavorful jams, jellies and salsas.

Our online store was a new venture for us. The online store has been put on hiatus.
